This review is for the Midtown East location of Le Relais De Venise L’entrecote. The previous review I had was for the closed SOHO location, which I was complaining that they charged $5.50 for tap water back in 2018. Fast forward about 3 years later post pandemic, how does this location fare compared to the previous one? I will say much better. Note that this location did not appear to charge for tap water.
Summary
I’ve been here numerous times to both the East Village and Manhattan locations, and they have consistently delivered pretty well within expectations.
The fried chicken sandwich is delectable. It was really good and pretty spicy with the right kick.
The Le Big Matt is like pretty big too. The cheese is super melty which makes it a little messy but pretty delicious.

The Roni Supreme is by far my favorite. It’s exactly what the description says. Be warned, it’s a little on the salty side.
This place sucks compared to KFC/Popeyes. Yeah I said it.
A few doors down from the Ssam bar, this place is pretty good. $12 for a combo which was basically drink, fries, and the sandwich. The Momofuku red sauce is always good.
Unfortunately this is CLOSED.
This fried chicken sandwich was a special served during lunch and was quite good.
I think Westville’s normal menu seems bland and isn’t that great.
Was actually really good, and was one of the first places I went to when I moved here.
Great for the price, although I was here on a pescetarian date. I thought I could do pescetarian, and I can’t. Would come back for actual meats.
Same owner as the Minetta Tavern. Great for the price. I liked teh suckling pork because it was straight up fat with crispy skin. Got the whole fish, and it was great too.
Only problem is it is CLOSED.
Pretty good. Decent price. Don’t have much else to say I guess.
Amazing place. The baked alaska and veal tongue were really good. It’s also not too expensive.
