Been here a few times already now. It’s always a trek to get here. It’s about a mile away from the Smith G stop subway station. If you go walking at night, it’s a little sketchy at times.
The wait for the food on a prime time Saturday night can be up to an hour if the line starts near the band. If you want to avoid the line, come here circle 11 AM on a Sunday.
Fried chicken sandwich was ok. Has a kick to it just like every fried chicken sandwich place. Cash only though. Don’t think I’d care to come back.
For whatever reason, the brisket was dry even though it’s recommended by Yelpers. The pastrami was also dry and overly salty. Generally the BBQ was bad. Maybe it was just this one time, not sure.
BBQ is really good. Better than Mighty Quinn’s.
Crowded AF. Really noisy, bartenders slow AF. Standard Biergarten is better as well as the other one in Billsburg.
Cool place. They have food. Not too expensive. Right next to the water sorta in Williamsburg.
Cool vibe. Good place to take people who live in Carroll Gardens area circa Smith St.
Decent stop for a drink before going elsewhere.
Cool place for whiskeys.
But it’s CLOSED.
Cool divey spot. Cheap drinks. Lots of gin/tequila based cocktails. They occasionally have random small bands.
