I had stumbled drunk here back in 2018 not realizing it was a Michelin restaurant. Fortunately, it was on our list to come back to have a more proper dinner where our memory would still function. Our friends wanted a taste of a Michelin type of experience, and in lieu of a tasting menu, we opted for a more shareable format. Reservations are fairly easy to come by, so on a Sunday night, the restaurant wasn’t super full at 5 PM. Casa Mono still today maintains 1 Michelin Star.
This place was surprisingly good. The shakshooka and bread was really good. Too bad it’s CLOSED.
The chicken was good, but it’s a little pricey though. Seems to be a common theme nowadays.
So bad. The lomo saltado is really dry. Can’t seem to find a decent lomo saltado in NYC.
“Gourmet” lomo saltado is like paying $20 tacos. This is a ripoff and not worth the $20+. Good, but not great.
This place is pretty cheap. I remember both the lomo and pollo being a bit on the dry side, but it’s so cheap not much of a reason to complain I guess.
Pretty decent Korean BBQ. Also a bit expensive, and not as good as Let’s Meat.
Pretty decent Korean BBQ. A bit expensive, but everything was good.
Pretty good Korean food. Fairly priced and family style. They have BOSSAM, and it was really good.
This place is ok. Got the japchae and soondobu. Cheap though.
