Abiko Curry is a Japanese curry restaurant that I had visited before in Koreatown way back in September of 2018. We were near the neighborhood, and I thought to check it out again. I remembered the curry and flavors being one of my favorite Japanese curry places in the city, but I also remembered that the “medium spicy” level was uncomfortably intense. This time around, I want to give it another try to see if I can get a better feel for it.

Pretty good kaiseki (~$180).

Japanese lunch was cheap and good. But this place is CLOSED now replaced by Menkoi Sato, a ramen place.

The spicy pork tonkatsu was pretty good. One of the better Japanese curry places in the city.

Terrible “sushi burrito”

This place is CLOSED for obvious reasons.

Good lunch spot and fast. Cheap.

This place was ok. Pasta was good, but it needs protein. The meat cheese board was just ok.

Food was just ok even though it’s highly recommended by people. Probably a good date place though.

Lots of food for lunch and just ok.

I only ate here because it was close to the MET. I don’t remember what I had, but I’ve only written that it was good.
