This Osteria offers dishes linked to the region of Romagna offering very fresh ingredients. I picked this restaurant because I was looking for lasagna, a favorite of my partner. As we continue to explore the area, we were surprised by the quality of the restaurant dishes here. It was not just a neighborhood restaurant, but the food was surprisingly pretty darn good. We were able to walk in around 6:00 PM on a Friday evening without reservations, though we had to sit at the bar.
Ambiance & Service
The restaurant was small, but it had some outdoor seating since it was nice weather. The ambiance really feels like a small neighborhood joint. It’s quite loud, but fortunately not loud enough where I couldn’t hear my partner.
The service was very fast, and you can tell there are many locals that come here.
Food
The San Lorenzo Rosso di Montalcino ($25) was a Sangiovese coming from Toscana, Italy 2022. This came from young vines, but it has some very luscious and silky flavors to it. It’s not quite a super Tuscan, but it’s almost there. It has very fruity red flavors in a medium body. It actually paired pretty well with the ragu.
The Lurisia Gazzosa ($6) was basically a lemon Italian soda. It tasted pretty good, and it wasn’t too sweet.
The complimentary Focaccia was very soft and came warm. If you want refills, you’d have to pay $5.
The Lasagna alla Radisa ($27) came with braised pork and beef, besciamella, and parmigiano. The pasta tasted super clean and fresh, and the flavors were very balanced. It’s not super elevated, but you can tell they put some thought in how they assembled and cooked the dish.
The Tagliatelle ($27) came with classic ragu bolognese and diritto di sugo (a side of meat sauce). The noodles had a very nice chew, and I wished there were larger portions. Regardless, the ragu sauce was quite delicious. The tomato sauce had some sweetness to it, but it also offered some tartness too. The meat was very delicious, and the side of ragu just gave it more deliciousness. For the price, you couldn’t ask for much better. I wouldn’t say this is the best tagliatelle dish I’ve had, but it’s definitely one that was recently memorable.
Overall Impression
Osteria Radisa has a small menu, which means it’s easy to figure out what you want to eat. The pastas that we ordered all tasted super fresh and delicious. If you’re around the area, this is definitely an interesting restaurant to check out.

it’s even better that your dog can sit at the table with you! … We ordered three steaks, and he simply announced in front of everyone that they cost $55 each, as if questioning whether we could afford the bill.
Is this Yelper confusing announcing with speaking loudly? It’s possible that sitting outdoors can be noisy, and voices can project. I doubt these restaurants in the neighborhood would be one that judge this extreme.
i do remember them serving TORTILLAS with my app instead of bread. Im sorry tortillas don’t belong in an Italian restaurant.
The business manager responded with the food was inspired by the region fo Romagna, which is where piadina originated from which is basically a flatbread. It’s unfortunate that Yelpers like these don’t seem to understand the dynamics of regional differences in how food is prepared.
