Summary

This place is near Stone Street down in the Financial District. I’m always down for a good cheesesteak, and yeah I also butcher the Philly style by ordering provolone over cheeze whiz.

The steak special comes with homemade broccoli rabe, provolone cheese, and I also added hot cherry peppers. These are the cherry peppers that are pickled with a nice kick to it. I thought this sandwich was pretty good, though I still prefer Federoff’s in Williamsburg. The sandwich was pretty big at a decent price, but I still feel Federoff is more complete.

The steak club comes with mayo, lettuce, tomato, bacon, and American cheese. Compared to the steak special, I thought this one was definitely much more bland. I did like the mayo in it though.

The fries were pretty crispy and filling. It definitely is thicker cut than normal skinny fries. It made me wish that they had steak fries instead though.

In terms of ambiance, we were the only ones here on a Sunday cloudy afternoon. The bar is loaded with sports and TVs all over, so it’s definitely a good spot for the after-work thing. Price wise, it’s about comparable to other cheesesteak places in the city.

Final Verdict

This is a good and decent cheesesteak spot if you are ever in the Financial District.

Yelp Jabs

First and foremost watch your bill! They will charge you for things you did not order.

You should probably do this for every restaurant.

I had order 10:15 PM, the order received after 2 hours and 3 calls to support, food was cold and I didn’t eat Delivery.com is not good organization too

Definitely blame the restaurant for Delivery.com failing.
